Apple Crumble

This dessert is like a "modern" cake: there is no dough, it's upside down and you eat it with a spoon. Confused yet?

Ingredients

The apples

  • 6 big red apples
  • 30g butter
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • 1 small spoons cinnamon
  • few nuts
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

The topping

  • 300g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 250g butter - room temperature
  • 1 small spoon cinnamon

Preparation

The apples

Peel the apples and cut them in big pieces. Cut the butter in small pieces. Mix the apples, butter, 1 spoon of sugar, the cinnamon, nuts, salt and pepper and put them in a cooking pot ~20cm/30cm.

The topping

Mix the flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon with your hands, in a pot, to obtain a sandy texture. Put this on top of the apples.

Bake at 180 degrees C, for 30 minutes.

Bon appetit!
